Brightening 2-in-1 Exfoliator & Cleanser

Basil essential oil is rich in rosmarinic acid and eugenol — natural phenolic compounds with clinically documented antimicrobial activity. On facial skin, these compounds disrupt the lipid membrane of the bacteria responsible for blemishes and blocked pores — without causing the dryness associated with harsh chemical cleansers. Aloe vera leaf gel contains over 75 active compounds — vitamins, enzymes, minerals and amino acids. Its most significant skin benefit comes from acemannan, a long-chain polysaccharide that binds moisture to skin cells and supports barrier repair. It also contains naturally occurring salicylic acid, which complements the exfoliating action of this product. It soothes and it contributes. Two jobs at once.

Exfoliating removes dead skin — but it also removes moisture if you’re not careful. Aloe vera immediately counterbalances that. It hydrates, calms any redness and supports the skin’s own repair. The result is clean, comfortable skin rather than tight, stripped skin.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is produced via double fermentation of apple juice. It contains acetic acid, malic acid, citric acid and naturally occurring enzymes. The acids act as gentle chemical exfoliants — loosening the bonds between dead skin cells without physical abrasion. Crucially, ACV’s pH (around 3.1) is close to the skin’s natural pH of 4.5–5.5, making it one of the few natural ingredients that actively restores healthy acid balance to the skin.

Most cleansers are alkaline — they strip the skin’s natural pH and leave it vulnerable to bacteria and irritation. ACV does the opposite. It restores the acid mantle while clearing pores in the process. A two-in-one ingredient inside an already two-in-one product.
