BAZ & CO was founded by a farmer with a simple belief: what you put on your skin matters just as much as what you put into your body.

Modern skincare often promises quick fixes using long ingredient lists and synthetic shortcuts. We take a different view. Skin health is built over time, using fewer, better ingredients that work with the body, not against it.

That’s why BAZ & CO creates natural, high-performance skincare for men, made using plants grown on our own vertical farms and blended here in the UK. No parabens. No harsh detergents. No unnecessary additives. Just what your skin needs - and nothing it doesn’t.

Basil is our hero ingredient. It’s naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants - making it ideal for keeping skin calm, clear and resilient. It also happens to thrive in vertical farming environments, where we can grow it without pesticides, using up to 95% less water than traditional agriculture, and powered by renewable energy.

Like juniper to gin, basil is to BAZ & CO. It sits at the heart of every formula we make.

We grow our basil vertically, extract its essential oils using traditional copper pot distillation, and blend our products in the UK. This process concentrates the plant’s natural benefits without relying on synthetic alternatives.

The result is skincare that’s as effective as chemically derived products, but gentler on your skin and lighter on the planet.

Before BAZ & CO, my world was food, drink and farming - understanding ingredients, where they come from, and what happens when you take shortcuts.

Skincare wasn’t an obvious next step. But the more I looked at what most of us put on our skin every day, the more it reminded me of ultra-processed food: long ingredient lists, clever marketing, and very little connection to where things actually come from.

BAZ & CO grew out of a simple idea - that skincare should be treated with the same care as what we eat and drink. Fewer ingredients. Better sourcing. And natural formulas that quietly do their job, day after day.

That’s why we grow our own ingredients, why basil sits at the heart of every recipe, and why we keep things deliberately simple.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about doing things properly.
